Det heter Nävgröt för bövelen!

Right now we are hanging out at  Carlssons Matsalar in our rooms, just watched the ice hockey semi final between Hv71 and Frölunda. HV kicked ass and on wednesday the finals start, of course you all will cheer for our home town team Färjestad.

The gig in Gothenburgh yesterday was awesome, thanks to all of you who showed up. We hope you liked it.
Earlier yesterday me and Fred went to P4 to do a radio interview. Somehow we mixed up some things and refered to a local food course as Klengås (weak goose) which of course is not what we meant. It’s called Nävgröt (Fist porridge). Sorry about that! The radio station got several phone calls about this.

Today we went pretty early to our next gig here in Gislaved and discovered that this small town is very dead on a saturday afternoon.
We met up with Dia Psalma and the other opening band Itchy Daze at Gisleparken, nice guys from the northern part of Sweden. The venue is really cool, we are of to to a soundcheck in just a few minutes.
We hope this gig will be cool too and also the afterparty, since this is our last gig with Dia Psalma.

Im really glad im not charing room with Fred today! Calle probably wont survive the night if Fred does not do anything about his smelly feet.

The black cult sthlm!

Hell yeah, you know what happend when we entered the stage in Eskilstuna? The mighty, and one and only Black cult stockholm just stood there in the audience – they travelled all the way without letting us know about… that was a surprise – but next time – let us know so we at least can give ya all a couple of beers! (well , they got a lot of beer and jaegermeister after the gig – no names mentioned, but one person lost his mobile, so the amount of liquer was probably enough, he he he)

A tour report will come later! This one was dedicated to the mighty black cult!

Not metal, but…

… hockey – and yes – our home team “Färjestad” won 2-0 today in the semi final… ( they scored 1-0 – 19:46 in the 3:rd period) he he he, feels good… ( and – they won over the team in gävle (brynäs) – and we are playing there on saturday…) hope they hate our guts, then we will have a good show…

Torsk på Tallinn!

Torsk På Tallin (translated Cod on Tallinn) is a great Swedish comedy tv-show that is about a trip to the capital of Estonia, Tallinn, where some loosers are looking for wives! Really a good one!

Now, we dont have to look for wives there, but we are going there for a show, when we are on our Finland tour in april, and we will have as fun being there as it is watching “torsk på tallinn”. I guess we will have to bring that episode to watch on Calles portable DVD-player to get in the mood!

Got the message today that the gig is confirmed. This gig will also include the Wrestlers that are appearing on the Friday Night Rock Fight in Helsinki, Finland!

The gig in Tallin is at Club Tapper on april 2oth.

Black Gemini

Damn - no gigs this weekend… So what to do? Well, why not go and check out the chopper my old friend is building for -me! Man – it´s getting better for every time… the “big picure” of it is coming together such as: the angle of the steering, back fender, front fender… and yes, its still going to be black, black and… a some aluminium color, just on a couple of things i.q. exhaust pipe – just to get that race look… Can´t wait to get it out on the road. Wanna join for a ride?

“In Voodoo Veritas” climbs the charts!

Hell yeah!

Our album “In Voodoo Veritas” is obviously selling pretty well. We are still on the Swedish chart for most sold hard rock and metal albums, but this week we climb to no 6.

Feels great!

This weekend we have no gigs so it’s just In Wino Veritas all day long!!!

Break up

“Monster”-Magnus Eronen has now left his former band, Space Probe Taurus, to concentrate on his work in Sparzanza.
We are really glad he is playing with us, and his live-shows are getting better and better and better! And he plays really well, or what do you say, you whom have seen him play live???
I met some of the guys in Space Probe the other day and it did not seem as there was any hard feelings. We wish them the  best of luck in whatever they may do, and sorry we stole your guitarplayer!!!

My world of work!

Being in a band is hard work, I guess some of you know that! Not only are you tired after a weekend on tour, you will have to take care of business when you come home!

Today I have:
1. Taking care of paper work for the acountant.
2. Counting money for merchandise sold this weekend.
3. Learned how to deposit the money in a box in town.
4. Looked for papers we seemed to have lost in our rehearsal room.
5. Sorting out our t-shirts, while trying to find the missing papers in the t-shirt boxes. No luck!
6. Been scratching my head, desperate to find out how to get the fans to be able to do re-mixes of “My World Of Sin”.
7. Been swearing over Rikard, the producer, for recording so many tracks on the song mentioned above.
8. Gone bowling! And I won! Wanna challenge me?

Going Down – south

Hey! A big hail to the crowd in Malmo and Helsingborg! Once again we had a really good weekend.  Was also very nice to meet up with The Black Cult, Malmö! And probably we have a new cult in Helsingborg soon…

Ok some stories then…

1. On the way down we did a pit stop, (when Joey sniffs at a beer – he has to take a leak), we found a head of a wild boar. Probably a road kill – or – some illegal hunting…

 

2. No finger from the audience this time, maybe they read this blogg. (Or maybe they were out fighting – yes, it was a riot in malmö this weekend – not our fault though).
3. And this time we ate some really good food! On the way down we (also) stoped at MCD and after the gig we went to… MCD, for breakfast we had… you know the drill…
4.  On saturday we went to helsingborg and had some spare time, so we took the boat over to helsingör  in Danmark – we actually never went off the boat – they had so good food (?) – ok then – good drinks on board… 
5.  We had a really good (but to short) after party with dia psalma, really cool guys – all of them…  )Joey snatched a beer from them – well see if we are welcome next time…)
6.66 And off we went… on the road to hell, snowy and shitty weather as f**k. But our new driver (Teden) took us safely home, excpet for one incident – he tried to drive pass another car when the 2 lane was nailing into 1. ..(Oh – just remembered – he left his beer in our rehearse, muha ha ha ha ha…)
